It's the holidays. Hopefully all of you are capturing moments in time with your camera. Your child's first Christmas, a funny thing that happened while at the..., etc...

The DO THIS has to do with BACKUP.
Unlike the film days where you have the print and the negative, in the digital age, we live with files.

Tonight - HORROR. For some reason (probably user error), 1065 photos - gone. Those images contained the SF Giants 2010 World Series Parade and more.

Thankfully I still have a tech head brain and had backups of backups and those files are still there.

So... if you haven't finished with holiday shopping, do yourself a favor.... buy a hard drive or two and backup those important images
